"The most sensitive instrument is the human soul. Next, is the human voice." (Arvo Part)

Inspired by the universal spirituality and delicate sensitivity of Arvo Pärt, this concert captures the stillness and serenity that the world so deeply yearns for after 2 years of chaos and strife.

Immerse yourself in the subtle sonority of the guqin (古琴) in the world premiere of Sanctus, a Latin Gregorian Chant, set to music with inspiration from the ancient Chinese instrument. Be enthralled by Benjamin Britten's highly expressive and strenuously beautiful cantata for four soloists, a chorus and organ, Rejoice in the Lamb (1943).

Accompanied by Loraine Muthiah on the Victoria Concert Hall's Klais Organ, Raffles Singers cordially invites you for a night of remarkable stillness and serenity of soul.
